Make A Difference Monday: As President of the Board for Communities In Schools of North Texas, I relish opportunities to introduce community members to who we are, what we do and how we surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. The next such opportunity will be at Rivera Elementary School in Denton ISD.

CISNT is hosting a Program Showcase on Wednesday, November 6th at 8:30am. This is a great opportunity to learn more about what we do at the school and individual child level and how you can be part of that success story. Make A Difference Monday – this week we give a shout out to our friends at The Human Bean who are raising money to fight cancer. On October 18th, 100% of their revenue will be donated to Bridge Breast Network through their Coffee for a Cure campaign.

Bill Walton and the team with The Human Bean have been great partners in the community and support many local charities. Let’s do our part to help them do even more while enjoying a delicious drink.
